City staff encourages the community to participate virtually by reviewing the presentation slides below showcasing potential ideas on what the future of the park could be. Public comments from Phases 1, 2, and 3 of the planning process have been compiled and summarized on this page. The presentation below showcases the final conceptual master plan. Comments and input will be collected until December 21st at 7 pm.
Horizon Park is located at 731 27 Road directly west of Fire Station #6. This undeveloped park is 13 acres, surrounded by residential development, and is appropriate for a neighborhood-serving community park. Community input is a critical part of determining the future of this park and the City of Grand Junction wants to hear from you!
