At the January 7, 2021 and January 21, 2021 Planning Commission Workshops, members discussed the regulation of marijuana businesses. Those discussions focused on land-use regulations and other measures for promoting the public welfare as it relates to marijuana businesses. Emphasis was given to three types of marijuana business licenses: stores; products manufacturers; and cultivations. This January 26, 2021 workshop is a time to collate and revisit the suggestions and conclusions that emerged from prior workshops, to support staff in the development of a draft Ordinance that may be forwarded to the City Council for consideration at a City Council workshop on March 1, 2021.
